I remember seeing a video a while back that talked a lot about maps and what the DM could do with them in FG2.

My question is, How would I set a token on the map that I could click on and get some relevant information to the area.

IE. The PCs enter a room and there will be a token set for the room. Clicking on that token will bring up some personalized notes.

Probably quite simple. I just can't seem to figure it out. Thanks : )

They're called "Pins" in the user guides, or "Shortcuts" in most rulesets.

For details on how to enable and use pins/shortcuts, have a look at the user guide available under the library link at the top of this page, and go to this section: "GM Guide - Gameplay" -> "Images" -> "Enabling the Pin Layer" and a few other entries after that.

This is a link for 3.5e but it is appropriate for all rulesets: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/userguide35E/gm_images.xcp

Look in the left had sidebar - there are a lot of sub-headings under "GM Guide - Gameplay" -> "Images" (the sub headings are easy to miss when you open a main heading). Look at "Enabling the pin layer", "Creating pins", "Viewing Pins", etc..

Ahhh there they are. Thank you Trenloe. Was right under my nose.

It was simply holding control and dragging the object onto the map. ;D
