does anyone know what is wrong with the server. I am unable to connect to the server.

What server?

FGII has no server and to post on the forum you must not mean this server?

Do you mean the IRC server?

Or do you mean you do not know how to set up the settings required so you can host your own games?

when I run the test for a campaign is gives failure. what is causing that?

Host cannot get into FGII. Last week we did not have any trouble at all and played. Now it gives Connection Test Failure.

Did your external IP address change from last week? With my old ISP years ago, my IP changed frequently and the 4 word aliases sometimes didn't update each time. Try using the IP to connect to your game, if that doesn't work I'd go through the other problem resolutions in the Help forums on networking issues. Hope that helps.
