Hi Everybody,
I just wanted to let everybody know about an awesome opportunity to get great dungeon terrain and an unbelievably low price. The Dwarven Forge Game Tiles Kickstarter has surpassed all of its goals and is now approaching 2 million dollars in funding. What this means is that you can get a tremendous # of stretch goal items for a very low cost. If any of you are interested in getting some awesome dungeon walls, floors etc now is the time. I have no personal interest in the success of this Kickstarter, but I have backed it because the deal is too good to pass up. Here is the link.

Unfortunately, the new USPS shipping costs outside the US are having a detrimental effect on the larger Kickstarter items, especially items like this and board games.

Check out Hirst Arts (www.hirstarts.com). I liked my Dwarven Forge, but grew frustrated at the limitations. I sold off the $500 in DF sets I had, and bought a bunch of molds and plaster. I've loved working with all of them since. It's kinda like grown-up legos. The molds are fairly inexpensive to ship (by comparison) and you'd buy the plaster locally.

most new kickstarter books are charging $50 to ship to Aus. makes me very sad. i can buy books new from bookdepository delivered to Aus for less than i can buy digital content. i can but electronics from china delivered to Aus for less than i can buy books on kickstarter.

I really like the Fat Dragon terrain (I have most of their PDFs). As Mgrancey says, this kickstarter has just finished, but expect to see the resulting products available in the Fat Dragon store soon.

If you invest in a robo cutter making these models is so much easier...

I've got a silhouette Cameo - I'm very pleasantly surprised as to how well it works. Of course, it all depends on the accuracy of the cutting files, but these are generally pretty accurate.

They see a lot of use from Scrapbookers and such.
