We have a group of adventurers looking to purchase FGII (everyone buying DM version). One concern is whether or not the DM can connect to himself to play as a PC. Can the DM open another instance of FGII and connect to his own server (internal IP) using the same license of FGII?
Thanks in advance and let me know if you need any clarification.

Yes, absolutely. This is one of the very useful features of Fantasy Grounds that many people don't realise is there. So you're already ahead of the curve!

Best feature ever to find out as a GM what the player can and can't see. Also its a great way to learn the program before you (the GM) is thrown to the wolves (the players). ;).

Just to clarify... You can, as a GM, connect as a player *on the same PC* - start another instance of FG and connect (join game) with the host address of localhost. If you want to connect from another PC you will need another license for that PC.
