View Full Version : Token Sorting Wierdness

For some reason, half my tokens have some property that causes them to be treated as a different kind of token for the purposes of alphabetization.

So my list of tokens goes A-Z for half the list, then it starts over again.

This means when I'm looking for, like, a Gelatinous Cube token, I scroll down to G and if I can't find one, I scroll down to the *second* G and look there.

As far as I can tell, these tokens all have exactly the same properties, but obviously they don't.

Unless....is it possible that whatever's alphabetizing them can only handle so many, then it starts over?

I don't believe that the tokens are ever sorted technically. They are loaded in the order that they are returned by the operating system. Also, after you shuffle, the order stays shuffled, even if you arrange. It's been this way for as long as I have used FG, though I always wondered.

I already added a search filter in v3.0 development, perhaps I will throw in a sort in the standard grid arrange as well.
