Earlier this week I reached out to the guys at Adventureaweek.com after they posted on their forums that they had a surprise for Fantasy Grounds users.

The surprise was a ready to go Fantasy Grounds Pathfinder module of their adventure, A0 - Crow's Rest Island, that introduces players to the Adventureaweek.com campaign world. And here it is:

https://adventureaweek.com/shop/a00-crows-rest-island/

Unzip both of these .mod files to your <FG App Data Directory>/modules then start a new 3.5E Fantasy Grounds campaign (in Pathfinder mode), open the library and click on Module Activation and activate the 2 Adventureaweek.com modules: AaW Campaign Setting and A0: Crow's Rest Island - then look under the story entry for new tabs relating to these modules.

This adventure is also available for free in web format: https://adventureaweek.com/?page_id=20121

Also as a PDF (with a few extras) here: https://adventureaweek.com/?page_id=12492

So, there is now no excuse not to run a Pathinder scenario in Fantasy Grounds! :)

Additionally! Adventureaweek.com are looking for a couple of volunteers to convert their scenario line to Fantasy Grounds - in return for a free subscription to Adventureaweek.com. PM me for more details...

This is cool. I have read through a few of these in the past and enjoyed them. They seem great for beginner GM's and players alike.

Just remember ti start it off in Pathfinder mode.:) I read through the PDF and the FG adventure is a verbatim copy of the PDF. It's nice to see that sort of dedication and attention to detail, right down to the images used. Nice 1st level adventure too!

And an announcement on AaW website:

Uh this is a dumb question but how do I get those Mods to work?

Underneath the install directory for FG the is a folder called data and under that, modules. Place the files in there. Then, as a host, open up the modules window in the Pathfinder mode of PF/3.5e. You should see the module there. Now open the module by placing one of those red thingies in the bottom right hand corner and flip open the book in the top right hand corner. You should be able to access the module now, with entries under Story, Images, etc.

I'm running this as an intro game in FG-Con: https://www.fg-con.com/events/pathfinder-adventureaweek-com-introduction-a0-crows-rest-island/

I would join, but I've read the module. Shame. Low level adventures are so much fun.

The nice folks at adventureaweek.com are offering a free PDF adventure (up to a value of $6.99 from their store) to each player that completes this FG Con session of Crow's Rest Island!

Thanks adventureaweek.com (https://adventureaweek.com/)!

I'd really prefer players who haven't read the scenario, please. Sorry, that's just the way I am as a GM...

But, if we struggle to get players then I may let you play - with threats of lightening bolts from the sky if you show too much insider knowledge! ;-)

Would *never* mix player/character knowledge. I mean aside from a few pictures I can't even remember the thing. Too many modules since then. But I'd give sway to new players anyway. I'm just a nice guy :) .

And I'd NEVER incur the wrath of someone capable of ending a characters existence with a boot from the game.

Cheers,
SF

I hope you guys have a blast and I hope to see more of AAW on FG 2. The modules seem well written and fun. I like the way they are set up from a GM standpoint. Easy to put together and easy to run. The campaign setting leaves it open to lots of development for sandboxy stuff.

+1

Adventureaweek modules A0 and A1 now available in the FG store! :-)

I ran A0 at FG Con 2, its a good single session scenario and A1 follows right on afterwards. These two provide a solid introduction and entry point into the Adventureaweek world and campaign.

This is great news. Good to see some new options in the store and the AAW stuff is done very well.

Having played in Trenloe's FG 2 Con. I have to admit that I was more than impressed by the quality of the product. Pick it up. I have.;)

I would but I already have the PDF and have built the module into FG2 like last year. I hope there is going to be more of these though because for the price the quality is amazing.

Has anyone had any problems with seeing the pre-gen characters or being able to select the pre-gen characters in this module?

Which one? A0 or B1?

S Ferguson

Nope. I just released the characters, and let the players choose the pre-gen they wanted.

I don't think they are actually included with the FG files - at least looking at the version I have they are not there. The stats are available here, but not in FG format: https://adventureaweek.com/adventures/a-series/a0-crows-rest-island/#Pre-Generated_PCs

A0 was the one and thank goodness, I thought I was missing something simple LOL. I appreciate the quick responses :D
