New player looking for any kind of game!

I'm pretty much brand new to pen and pencil RPGS, and i gotta say i am already in love with them. I played a game for a few hours with some other noobs a week or two ago, and i love love love it. Just keep an eye out for new campaigns and game sessions, especially since some GMs often host one-shot scenarios.

If you enjoy the cinematic western genre and are available every other Friday, 5pm to 9pm Pacific time, you'd be welcome to try out my old west game, set in CA & NV, 1866. The game system is a very good one to learn with (based on Castles & Crusades) - and we have some players who I think would be very supportive of a noob. The main thing is that you need to enjoy the western genre (though you don't have to be a history expert), as the game is very atmospheric in that regard, and you have to be up for playing a text chat game, using FG's chat feature... both are things that can be hard to find in a player. PM me if you're interested (be advised, the game calendar here on the FG site doesn't email GMs if you apply for a game, so you should always PM the game master).
