And pretty much everything's twice the price it was when they were selling through DriveThruRPG. Good thing I bought pretty much everything I wanted back when they were selling it there.

better late than never! I see there are lots of books not included, may be they are going released later. It's good that people can download all this stuff legally again instead of torrenting it all!

At least they're giving something away for free - H1 Keep on the Shadowfell (although I believe this was available for free on WotC a while back): https://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=110212&it=1&SRC=Newsletter_FPW_thumb

It's silly they are not also giving away Kyber's Harvest and any other adventure they released free for promo reasons since its all available on their website. I haven't downloaded the H1 adventure, but I hope it is the updateded version not the original PDF.

I meant on www.DnDClassics.com - if they are going to use DriveThru to run the store for them, they *should* either just put only the "Classics" or everything on DriveThru. Not doing this just seems strange to me.

Edit: Ah I see the reason for my confusion. I assumed they were all new... :p

They're planning on releasing...just about everything they have the rights to. Over time.

One thing of interest is that if you ever bought one of those earlier scanned products from RPGNow, you now get a free upgrade to the new high-res scan with OCR.

Too bad they don't offer this for the SJGames.com and Wizards.com purchases. I bought a lot of those back in the day and they were pretty crappy. The World Builder's Guidebook was missing the margins and didn't have the templates.

Interesting. I wonder what brought this on . . the release of the reprinted 2nd edition manual's and an attempt to pull the old schoolers back into the fold?

They had announced their intention to bring the pdfs back quite a while ago. I think it is in conjunction with DnD Next, and trying to be more in touch with their customer base. If DnD Next can be adapted the way it has been described there should be a healthy market for the re-prints.
