I have recently found two applications from the wargames community that might be of interest to Fantasy Grounds GM's

The first can be found here https://www.battlechronicler.com/index.html

It is a windows application for generating battle reports for wargamers, what makes its of interest is that it has a rather nifty simple map generator which is great for generating out door area's quickly. You can add your own images to the program and it exports to various formats but to get it into Fantasy Grounds you would need to take a screen shot and paste into the graphics program of your choice oh and its free.

the second tool is flash based and can be found here https://www.universalbattle.com/ its a rule set neutral online wargames table. It to can generate maps very easily and has useful figure making utility for designing your own virtual wargame figure/tokens. Its not bad for doing wargaming on either! There is a free and a paid version, the very cheap paid version gives you access to all the battle maps and units created by all the users. It is mainly used to play Warhammer fantasy battle hough other rulesets are used. Personally I don't like WFB or 40k for wargaming and prefer more skirmish based games like Songs of Blade and Songs or any of the Two Hour Wargames franchise

Cool. I could have used battlechronicler for my epic undead rising campaign. There were huge movements of troops and massive fullscale battles.
