teach me how to use effects please?

So I am trying to get better at DM ing on FG and am wondering how to use the effects more, well, effectively. Would anyone be willing to hop on FG with me sometime and teach me how to use them? Please and thank you.

There have been plenty of threads on effects in 3.5E/PF and in the online user manual: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/userguide35E/ref_effects_35E.xcp (make sure to explore all of the Effects sub-menus on the left hand side). Do a search of this forum (3.5E/Pathfinder) for "effects" and you will get some info and plenty of examples.

also you can open fgII twice.

1) open 1st time and load a test campaign
2) open 2nd time and join the test campaign (use localhost or 127.0.0.1 for the host address)
3) Make a character on the 2nd instance
