There is a app for the android smart phones that allows you to connect to the TS3 server from your smart phone in the Google Play store and it is free for now because it is still in Beta testing its pretty cool.

I've had it a while now - It's good.

I've used it when my router stopped working and I had to "phone" the group to explain the situation

Yeah, I had a player who lost power who used it to let us know what happened after he disconnected.
