Hi Gang,

A quick question: Is the 30dX limit hard-coded or is there a setting somewhere to change it (working on a Shadowrun 3E Ruleset and our game has some VERY big dice rolls :D )?

Thanks in advance

It's hard coded in FG currently. I'd need to research why that value was chosen before I could change the maximum dice pool allowed.

*casts RAISE DEAD *

While the limit seems to have been raised in the meantime to 60 dice, friends of mine were disappointed when I showed Fantasy Grounds to them yesterday, trying to get them to use it for their OpenD6 (Star Wars D6) group. They are running an all–Jedi campaign and often have to roll like 120-150 dice to resolve some of their Jedi powers.

Is there any way around this limit, or will it be lifted when Unity arrives?

Roll in groups of 60?

Thanks for pointing that out to me. 'Makes it easier to sell them on using Fantasy Grounds

120-150? That would be a nightmare in person! Just a bit impressed with the dice pool.

The question is - why you need so many dice to be rolled? :)

It's a very high-powered All-ForceUsers campaign, and the characters (8 players, CONTROL, SENSE and ALTER usually in the 5-8+ dice areas) for extreme cases have a "Force Pool power" available - especially clairvoyance into the remote past can need the resiults gained by thoes power levels...

So each player is only throwing 20odd dice? And then you can pool the results only?
