Can't update/install

So, I had 2.9 alpha (I believe) installed and tried to update to 2.91 so I can run a game, but I encountered a problem when I tried to update. I got the following message from the updater:

Update error "HandleFile: Unable to save file (extensions/Dungeon Theme.ext)"

I followed the advice, including clearing out my application data folder, uninstalling and trying to reinstall. I cannot reinstall because I get the same error as above.

I have admin permissions set. I get the popup asking for permission to make changes to the computer, and I grant said permission. My anti-virus software is turned off and I am running Windows 7 64 Bit.

Nevermind. After my post I went to try one last time and realized I still had an old installer. I ran it, and it installed 2.81 or something like that, and then from there I was able to run the updater to 2.91. Problem solved.
