But is the rest of the 3.5 open source stuff hiding from me in FG2? In the library, all I can find is stuff from the Player's Guide. Wondering how to get to everything else that's in the SRD.

You get basic rules, spells, magic items and monsters with the standard product. EDIT: Removed incorrect info.

Found the rest of the SRD, lol: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.xcp?id=DGA044

My new question is: Does everyone that wants to use it have to buy it individually, or if the person running the game has it is it available to everyone for that game?

Can someone provide a bit of an idea what exactly this extra module contains?

Extra classes (i.e. Favoured Soul, Warlock), more races, etc... (?).

Everything on here:

https://www.d20srd.org/

Basically, everything that's open source (IE, everything Wizards released to everyone for free). I don't think they have the license to release anything else on fantasy grounds.

There is set of modules that was made by DA and now sold by Smiteworks called the Complete SRD that has everything released. It's like 7 bucks. This was one of DA's first and most popular products back in the day... https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.xcp?id=DGA044

Here's a screen with Complete SRD Basic Rules selected:

Idle curiosity, is everything from the SRD in there? IE, Psionics, divine ranks, Traits, flaws, ect?

It does not have traits and flaws (which are from Unearthed Arcana AFAIK), but the rest is there.

One thing to keep in mind is that the players need to buy this (CSRD) separately to get access.

I'm pretty sure its only Core SRD, but I haven't used it in a long time. Its a very old module, and was one of the very first 3rd party releases for FG1 because FG only had a subset of the SRD. I'm pretty sure it was "Complete" at the time it was released but it was never updated to include the Epic, Divine, Psionic or Variant rules. As a DM I mostly just used it for the monsters and occasionally the feats or items. It only had to save me a few inputs to justify the price to me - and not having to input Dragons - more than justified that to me. :p

The Complete SRD does have Epic, Divine and Psionics, but not the variant rules.

At this point.. I would think these modules are fairly out of date with the current ruleset. You are likely better off working with the d20srd.org and cut and paste any specifics you want into the character sheets if they aren't found in the current 3.5 modules.

I must be missing something big because I look at that and see more or less what already comes with the 3.5e rules in standard FG. What am I missing?
