Hi, I'm new to FG (having been shown this awesome looking piece of kit by another member), and I'm looking to join a game that needs players. If anyone has a free slot, or is planning to start a game soon, I'd be interested.

Here's the cruncher: I'm in the GMT zone, which means I tend to be unable to join games run in the Americas that take place in evenings (which is around midnight for me). Europe-based games are ideal; America based games are do-able if they start early enough.

I generally prefer fantasy genres, and I prefer story-driven RP heavy games (particularly mystery/intrigue related stories) to dungeon crawls and hack-fests.

My preferred systems are:

D&D 2nd edition
D&D 3.5 edition
Pathfinder
Warhammer (2nd edition only)

The only thing I really won't play is Warhammer 3rd edition, but beyond that I'll consider anything!

Welcome to FG and its community! May you have as many hours of fun as I've had thus far.

I just noticed a game of Warhammer Fantasy created on the game calendar last week by a new member as well: The Enemy Within Prequel: Once More Into the Darkness Dear Friends (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=882) . I didn't see an announcement for it, you should PM seajackson23 directly about it.

Baelheit announced his game (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17153&highlight=Forgotten+Realms) based in Forgotten Realms which runs on Fridays at 7pm GMT.

There might be others. I just too a quick look at the Game Calendar to find these, sorted on Last Updated field. Good luck!

FWIW, over in a recent thread, "My semi-anual quest for semi-realistic old west players (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17221)," I heard from another person in England who was interested, so I said I could potentially run a game for the GMT-0 folks (I'm self employed and work from home). It is, however, the old west setting. So far there has been a fair amount of roleplaying, but not lots of mystery or intrigue. That said, we're still on the starting adventure, and mostly shaking out the rules.
