The ATK effect.

I have found that all effects that i apply to PC's/NPC's work fine except for the attack (ATK) bonus or penalty. Is there a reason why this does not automatically effect a players roll? I have typed in the effects as per the manual. ATK is the only one that doesn't seem to work.
Is it up to the player to modify his attack roll personally?

I've never had any issues with this.

What format are you using?

I use:

ATK:1
OR,
ATK:-1
If you have more than one effect on a line, remember to separate with a semi-colon ;

You can include a 'type' of bonus as well:
Bless;ATK:1 morale
I use these in pretty much every game without issue. If you mix up the punctuation it can definitely be a problem.
