This thread is where GMs should post new game links for Pathfinder Society Organized Play games - preferably after they have created a Gamecalendar entry and a game discussion thread.

Fantasy Grounds forums allows users to "subscribe" to threads and receive email updates (as long as you have enabled these in your profile). So, in order to receive an email when a new game is posted subscribe to this thread! To subscribe: above the first post on a page, on the right-hand side, is a pull-down menu called "Thread Tools" of which the third option is Subscribe to this Thread.

GMs - please make sure you post an announcement about your game in this thread - with links to an already created Gamecalendar entry and a game discussion thread.

*** Please do not do game discussions in this thread - please keep it for game announcements only. Discussions should be carried out in the game specific thread thread created by the GM. ***

Thanks everyone - we all appreciate your patience in this migration from the Yahoo group to here. :)

I'm in please :)

This is really strange. According to your post it is 11:30am GMT (if it was PM then it should be 23:30), so with me being GMT +8, that should make it 7:30PM my time Tuesday night but it is saying it is 7:30AM Wednesday morning. Which one is it?

Hi Mgrancey - please create a separate thread for discussions specific to your game - I'd like to keep this thread purely for announcing a game. That announcement should provide links to the game calendar entry (which you've done - thanks) and the game specific discussion thread you create.

Thanks very much

GMs - please make sure you read the first post in this thread. People will be subscribing to this thread just to hear about new game announcements, they won't want to hear further questions and discussions about other people's games if they're not interested - they can subscribe to the game specific thread if they want updates for the game.

Appreciate it! Sorry to be the "thread police"... :-)

Newly released this is a short adventure probably running only 2 hours at worst. For character levels 1 to 5, there is no XP, but I am inquiring about Prestige, which will be at best 1 from what I can tell.

Calendar is here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=859) for signing up, I am perfectly willing to run multiple times and plan to share the module when finished, so if you have played once before and there is a waiting list please allow others to play before playing again.

Questions and responses in this thread please (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?p=128793#post128793)

There are two boon rewards, which you will need to select one of:

Kobold Killer Anytime you face a kobold in the future, you may designate one such creature as a free action. You gain a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls against that single target for the duration of the combat. When you have used this boon, cross it off the Chronicle sheet. This ability does not stack with multiple instances of itself.

Sewer Sense Your time spent in Absalom’s sewers has given you an innate familiarity with the complex network of tunnels and underground streams. You gain a single-use +5 bonus on any Knowledge (local) or Survival check to learn about or navigate the sewers under the City at the Center of the World, applied before the roll is made. When you have used this boon, cross it off the Chronicle sheet.

I have an Ultimate license, so if you are new to FGII or Pathfinder Society, please let me know before hand so I can explain and clarify anything you are confused or have questions about.

After proving their value to the Aspis Consortium by carrying out a number of tasks throughout the City of Cyphers, the Pathfinders can learn the location of one of the consortium's local allies and ensure that the support the Aspis Consortium is counting on from their friends won't come.

Each session will run for 4-5 hours. The final session may be extended if necessary to finish.

For decades, the tiny village of Ravenmoor has existed quietly on the upper reaches of the Lampblack River, far from the centers of civilization in Varisia. Linked to the outside world only by an overgrown, mostly forgotten trail, the villagers are comfortable with their isolation. Their ways are humble, quaint, and at times odd, and when travelers come, they find the town awkward and unmemorable. Certainly, the lack of a village inn, the oppressive humidity, and the bug-infested moors and swamps that surround the village do little to encourage visitors. When a clerk in the city of Magnimar discovers that, due to a clerical error, the village of Ravenmoor hasn’t paid taxes in years, a tax collector is sent to the distant community to settle accounts with its mayor. When the tax collector fails to return, however, a group of adventurers must travel to the town during its Founders’ Feast celebration to investigate his disappearance. Did he really make off with the taxes for himself, as the villagers suspect? Or did he never make it out of Ravenmoor at all?

This is a sanctioned module and will run differently than normal PFS scenarios. It will be played over 3 sessions and a chronicle sheet will be awarded at the end of the adventure.

To play, you need to be available on all 3 dates and sign up in blood hehe. This is the first time I have tried to run a sanctioned module here and I really want it to work. I think sanctioned modules offer something with more depth than the one session missions and it will have more of a 'campaign' feel to it.

There are several differences to the way that sanctioned modules. Most notably:

Your character will be 'locked' into the module once they start play and that character will be unable to play other PFS sessions until the module has been completed.

You will not have a faction mission, but you will be awarded 4 prestige and 3 XP for completing the module.

More information about sanctioned modules can be found in your organized play guide (https://paizo.com/products/btpy84k4)

Overview
Beldrin’s Bluff was once an affluent cliff side neighborhood of Absalom, overlooking the Inner Sea’s glittering surface. Nobles and wizards alike erected estates and towers there, and merchants and artists flocked to the cliffs to entertain them. Then came the great quake 10 years ago—half of Beldrin’s Bluff tore from the land and fell into the sea, taking most of its citizens with it. The rest of the area was laid to ruin by the trembling earth and the surging sea. Some of Absalom’s oldest families were utterly erased. Terror and hatred filled the hearts of the survivors and restless spirits of the dead rose from their watery graves and prowled the night. Perhaps the most terrifying loss was the drowning of the Tri-Towers Yard, an elite academy for the youth of the noblest families of Beldrin’s Bluff. The quake struck at noonday. The children were buried in rubble, and as the sea frothed up from below, it carried unnatural things, tormented dead long ago interred in a hidden necropolis beneath the academy. No one survived. Now the Tri-Towers Yard is known as the Drownyard, a desolate ruin filled with strange black ichors and salty brine. Within lie the secrets of an ancient necropolis, but there too dwell the spirits of its inhabitants and the angry dead of the Tri-Towers students and teachers.

"Defenders of Nesting Swallow" is the final scenario in the three-part The Quest for Perfection campaign arc. It follows Pathfinder Society Scenario #3–09: The Quest for Perfection—Part I: The Edge of Heaven and Pathfinder Society Scenario #3–11: The Quest for Perfection—Part II: On Hostile Waters. Overview
Eight hundred years ago, a hidden armada of ships from Taldor floated off the coast of the Isle of Kortos like a thousand locusts, waiting for the signal to invade Absalom. The plan was simple, but deadly: When the misty weather of Desnus (May) took hold, a fifth column of infiltrators known as Black Echelon would weaken strategic defense points and destroy Absalom's warning system from within. Once their bloody mayhem was complete, the hidden saboteurs planned to signal the fleet, welcoming them to lay siege to a city now brought to its knees.

Warning:
Keep track of what you buy, if you want to buy something before hand record it down, post it in this game's thread (with cost if expensive) before the game so I can quick check it (which means anything less than 1,500gp I really don't care about), and very shortly after the game simply post in this game's thread with the total list of purchases and expenditures with their costs and condense them to 7 lines if you buy a bunch of things.

I'll probably do the chron sheets while I'm playing in my game that evening so you will get them back fast. Monday or Tuesday at latest. After which I will upload them to a dropbox folder, so make sure you have an account.

Getting Started
Roused from sleep and herded aboard the Winking Wyvern, the party sails urgently for Rivenrake Island and the ruins of Xin-Bakrakhan, ancient capital of the Thassilonian Runelord of Wrath. A note from Venture-Captain Sheila Heidmarch informs the group that a Society-funded dig team has uncovered a totally intact temple that appears to be associated with the goddess Lissala, buried for 10,000 years. Given the fresh revelations that this long-thought-dead cult is thriving and allied with the Aspis Consortium, it’s a truly wonderful find, providing an unprecedented opportunity to gain knowledge of this forgotten faith. Even if the site turns out to not be dedicated to Lissala, learning more about the faiths and practices of ancient Thassilon always provides an abundance of knowledge. Often the items they use in their rituals lead to clues about the cults.

By now the work crew has finished clearing the site—the time to explore its secrets is at hand. The Society has no exclusive contract to the site, and Aspis Consortium agents scour the countryside seeking such ripe targets, so time is of the essence. Archaeologists Halla Beusophis and Kovo Murse can answer questions when the group arrives, and a fellow Pathfinder ranger, Riemme Batelle, is already on the island, ready to join in this exciting endeavor. Sheila Heidmarch has given the party a charge: eliminate the ancient temple’s dangers so that Society scholars can study the ruins safely, and bring back whatever knowledge lies within.

"Dreading the long trip from Thornkeep back to Absalom, the party instead heeded a summons along the way in Korvosa. There they met with Venture-Captain Varian Jeggare. The half-elven noble warmly greeted the party at his apartment near the Acadamae campus. His bodyguard, Radovan, stood quietly in the corner, arms crossed.

"It is fortuitous that I was able to reach you so quickly, Pathfinders. A dear friend of mine, Lady Tiboros of Nisroch, has some troubling news of her lovely daughter Anya. A sprightly girl, but I found her a competent enough horse rider on my last visit to their manor. Anyways, Anya was wed to Baron Boroi of Karpad going on a year now and she has already birthed a beautiful boy going on two months old now I believe. You see as a dutiful daughter, she maintains frequent contact with her mother, keeping her abreast of her day-to-day going-ons.

However, the tone of her letters has grown increasingly strained and her mother, Lady Tiboros, has not received any communication in going on three weeks. So as you can imagine the Lady is quite concerned about the well-being of her daughter. I do hate to impose, but it would bring relief to both myself and the Tiboros family if you would please travel to Karpad and check on dear Anya? She is the youngest of her family and her mother loves her so. I will take care of all your travel arrangements and you should arrive in a week's time."

The trip to Karpad was mercifully unremarkable, involving little more than a short ship ride through Conqueror's Bay allowing them to bypass the Mindspin Mountains. Then a short overland trek brought them directly to the village of Karpad. The nearest bit of civilization is the city of Pangolais that lies some 100 miles to the south."

While many Pathfinders meet unfortunate fates in their ongoing explorations of the dangerous world of Golarion, some retire with decades' worth of treasure in their coffers, and their lives still intact. When one such Pathfinder approaches the Grand Lodge with the hidden location of her treasure vault, it falls upon a new generation of Pathfinders to retrieve from within a valuable keepsake. That they can keep anything other than the ex-Pathfinder's locket makes the assignment all the sweeter.

War between demons and the civilized peoples of the Inner Sea region has broken out in the Worldwound far to the north of Absalom, but despite the regional implications of an Abyssal victory, many nations are ambivalent toward the cause. The Pathfinder Society, at the urging of Silver Crusade leader Ollysta Zadrian, arranges a formal banquet to be hosted by newlyweds Michellia and Damian Blakros, at which the society's agents can attempt to sway the political opinions of Absalom's movers and shakers. Will the Pathfinders succeed in securing the much-needed military support of Absalom and other nations bordering the Inner Sea, or will the crusaders and Pathfinders fighting on the front lines in Mendev find themselves standing alone before the demonic hordes?

Fangwood Keep

Claim the Castle!

Fangwood Keep has changed hands innumerable times since its founding decades ago on the border between the warring nations of Molthune and Nirmathas. Over the years, both countries have sacrificed money and soldiers in an effort to control the fortress along the Marideth River valley, both for its tactical location and for its secure defenses. Recently, however, the battles around Fangwood Keep have dwindled to a trickle as Nirmathas has firmly rooted itself in the surrounding valley, allowing the tide of war to shift elsewhere and peace to settle at last over Fangwood Keep.

This respite was shattered by the arrival of a renegade Molthuni commander named Pavo Vos. Obsessed with capturing Fangwood Keep and unraveling the fortress’s mysteries, the defecting lieutenant unlawfully used his platoon to secure the castle, much to the ire of both the Molthuni and Nirmathi governments. Now the task of bringing Vos to justice and reclaiming Fangwood Keep for Nirmathas lies solely in the PCs’ able hands.

"Fangwood Keep" is an adventure of infiltration, investigation, and dungeon exploration for 4th-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG. This volume also contains a gazetteer of the Marideth River valley and a brand-new monster from the bizarre realm of the fey, both of which can easily be integrated into any campaign setting.

The Mendevian Crusade draws heavily on the Pathfinder Society’s resources, and unless the Decemvirate can secure the assistance of generous patrons, the society may not have sufficient capital both to fight off the demonic invasion and to prepare its expedition to a lost historical site within the Worldwound. The FG Con website now has 17 Pathfinder Society events ready for players to sign up to.

Go to https://www.fg-con.com/
login if you have an account from FG Con 2 - if not you will be asked to register. Make sure you use an email address that is valid and you check regularly - this is the main way that con admin and GMs will get in touch with you!
At the bottom of your profile page enter your "Timezone (numerical offset from UTC)" that will be in place at the start of the convention (Friday 1st November). This will auto adjust the event times to your timezone.
Have a look at the event lists for events that you are interested in - anything beginning with "Pathfinder Society" is a PFS game. Sign up (click on the event title and fill out the "Bookings" section of the event detail page) for any game you wish - not just PFS! Be careful to make sure the times are displayed in your timezone and they events you sign up to don't overlap.
Once your booking request has been approved and admin rep or GM will get in touch with you (via the email address you used to register) over the next 1-3 days to coordinate getting all of your PC info.
If you have any questions please use the "Leave a reply" section of the event detail page to post a comment.

Note - we are not using the FG forums for event booking and coordination, we are using the FG Con website. This is based of feedback from the last convention where particularly new players found it confusing having to register and use 2 different sites for the convention.

Please feel free to post about FG Con on any social media, forums, website, wherever you feel appropriate. There are still a couple of minor things to be added to the website, but we are ready to take player booking.

Also, keep checking back on the FG Con website as there will be more events added over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone!

I am not looking to steal GatewayTraveller's thunder here as I know he has a game of this same scenario pending. However, looking at the applicants for his game it looks like there may be sufficient demand for a second session of the scenario. PFS Master of the Fallen Fortress - Saturday 23rd November 8pm BST

A Pathfinder scenario for 1st-level characters.

I tried to run this previously as my first foray into PFS GM'ing as it looks like a great introductory scenario for new players and GMs alike. Unfortunately, after three no-shows I was forced to cancel. Better luck this time I hope!

#4–22: Glories of the Past—Part I: Halls of Dwarven Lore

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5–9.

The dwarven sky citadel of Janderhoff in eastern Varisia is one of the least visited settlements in the land, at least by non-dwarves. Nevertheless, the Pathfinder Society has been invited to assist in the excavation of a forgotten ruin within the large underground complex. What the fearless adventurers stand to find within could be the greatest discovery of the Age of Lost Omens, something sure to immortalize all involved in the pages of the Pathfinder Chronicles for ever more. But the ruins under Janderhoff aren't the end of the Pathfinders' journey; rather they illuminate a treacherous path ahead, from the familiar land of Varisia into much more dangerous territory.

The Pathfinder Society has discovered the hint of a monumental revelation, but in order to confirm their find, they must send a team of agents into the dangerous and unwelcoming orc-ruled Hold of Belkzen. Thus, a team of Pathfinders must seek out a guide in the Varisian orc city of Urglin. Can they navigate the treacherous city of denizens who wouldn't mind seeing them dead, or will the orcs' Second Home be the site of their final mission?

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for level 1-2.

Almost all Pathfinders undergo extensive training for three or more years to learn the tricks of the trade, and their last test before graduating from the ranks of the initiates to the status of a full Pathfinder agent is the Confirmation, a special research project that involves considerable fieldwork and is designed to simulate the initiates' future work as a Pathfinder. Even the noteworthy field commissioned agents sometimes participate in such trials as a way to familiarize themselves with the Pathfinder Society’s rules and expectations. Although Confirmation is typically an individual affair, the society recently discovered a site on the Isle of Kortos that would be perfect for initiates but perhaps too dangerous to handle alone. Successfully uncovering this site’s secrets will not only contribute to the society’s body of knowledge but shape the exciting careers ahead for each of the prospective agents.

any new games getting set up?
I have said this before - please *do not* post anything in this thread other than a GM posting an announcement for a game they are going to run. Lots of forum members subscribe to this thread so that they receive an email when a new game is available, so please do them a favour and post any questions you may have about PFS game in the forum as a new thread - do not post questions/comments in this thread. Thanks.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7.

During the recent attack on Nerosyan, Pathfinders sought out a local venture-captain to aid in the city’s defense. What they found instead suggested the leader had not only fled recently but had played a part in the demons’ offensive. Venture-Captain Jorsal has determined that the safety and integrity of the Pathfinder Society requires that a team delve into the sealed basement beneath the abandoned lodge to determine what other plans his turncoat colleague may have set in motion.

Content in "The Traitor’s Lodge" also contributes to the ongoing storyline of the Grand Lodge faction.

I will run this game over two sessions on consecutive Thursdays. please post your last two chronicle sheets, your inventory sheet plus your xml file to the message board thread mentioned below, if you want to play

More than a decade has passed since the Goblinblood Wars left the nation of Isger in shambles, and the Pathfinder Society uses the many abandoned roads through the county's interior to smuggle valuable relics. This is short notice, but I am free tomorrow afternoon and wondered if we could get a group together to run this. Its quite a good one for new players.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–08: The Confirmation 17/7/2014 8pm BST

The Fabric of Reality is a Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 5th- to 9th-level characters (Tier 5–9; Subtiers 5–6 and 8–9).

For the past year, the Pathfinder Society has used the isolated demiplane contained in the Hao Jin Tapestry as a private adventuring realm and, since discovering a backdoor out of the demiplane, as a shortcut from the tapestry's location to a hidden corner of Varisia. But the tapestry wasn't designed for this purpose, and travel from Absalom to Varisia could be more efficient. Now a team of Pathfinders must discover how the infamous sorcerer known as the Ruby Phoenix created her private demiplane and enter the heart of the tapestry and alter the very nature of the magical realm.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–2.

More than 400 years have transpired since the Pathfinder Society began in a humble tavern that has quietly weathered the centuries without incident. When a routine errand there uncovers a clue left behind by one of the founding Pathfinders, it’s up to the PCs to solve a puzzle whose pieces are scattered across Absalom—and whose prize dates back to the Society’s darkest years.

An adventure for 2nd-4th level PFS characters

Feast of Ravenmoor is an adventure for 3rd-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG. It features a terrifying adventure set in a rural village in the frontier realm of Varisia, and a brand-new monster eager to torment and frighten unsuspecting adventurers.

Time: Wednesday 11th February 2015, 19.00 GMT.
Campaign Mode: Normal PFS (This used the full PFS ruleset and is not a CORE game. Let me know if you have any questions about core and normal campaign modes)
Run Time: 5 hours

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5. Amenopheus has learned that the legacy of the Jeweled Sages lies near the Osirian trade city of Eto, and the Pathfinder Society has pledged its support in the Sapphire Sage’s investigation of his ancient order; however the lead dried up—that was until a familiar information broker contacted Amenopheus offering an exchange of services. To assist an ally and unlock the secrets of Osirion’s past, the Society must deal with a deadly antagonist once more by sending the PCs to fulfill the bargain and collect its due. The only question is what price their foe will demand. “A Bitter Bargain” is the first scenario in the three-part Destiny of the Sands campaign arc. It is followed by Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–15: Destiny of the Sands—Part 2: "Race to Seeker’s Folly" and Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–16: Destiny of the Sands—Part 3: "Sanctum of the Sages." All three chapters are intended to be played in order. Content in “A Bitter Bargain” also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Osirion, Qadira, and Sczarni factions.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

Beneath the Grand Lodge of Absalom lie the vaults, a series of storerooms and libraries that contain much of the Society’s findings from the past centuries. Cataloguing the sundry relics and texts takes time, and finds requiring closer study find their way to an extensive vault called the Overflow Archives. Soon after a pair of initiates sneaks into the archive and steals a few items on a dare, the complex inexplicably springs a leak. It is up to the PCs to investigate this strange phenomenon and put a stop to it before thousands of priceless documents are ruined forever.

Content in “The Overflow Archives” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Dark Archive faction.

The coastal city of Magnimar is no stranger to crime, yet recently, a series of murders has sent a chill through the early morning streets. Someone—or something—is stalking and killing worshipers of Sarenrae, the goddess of the sun. The city guard is prepared to ambush the murderer, but they need help—help of the kind that adventurers are so good at providing. What is the sinister truth behind these violent acts?

This is a single session Game-day module designed for six characters levels 4-6.

Legendary Treasure!

Tall tales of hidden riches are common in the pirate-infested taverns of the Shackles, but when Captain Varossa Lanteri claims to know the location of the secret treasure hoard of legendary Captain Jemma Redclaw, it seems she may be telling the truth. Captain Lanteri hires the PCs on as crew to help her assemble the magic key that will open the door to Redclaw’s treasure... and the ancient cyclops stronghold in which it’s hidden! Can the PCs survive long enough to claim their share of the lost loot, or will their enemies—or their allies—send them to a watery grave?

Plunder & Peril is a collection of three adventures that link to form one deluxe super-adventure for 4th-level characters, and includes 64 action-packed pages filled with aquatic predators, marauding dragons, cyclopean horrors, and more! These tales parallel and elaborate upon the swashbuckling excitement of the Skull & Shackles Adventure Path and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Skull & Shackles Base Set. Plus, chart your course through pirate plagued seas with a full-color poster map featuring the most detailed view of the Shackles ever released. Players can expect to reach 7th level by the time they complete the third adventure and claim their share of Redclaw’s treasure—if they can survive the ancient terrors that guard the hoard!

I will be running this module for PFS credit with non PFS characters i.e you can get up to 4 Chronicle sheets and 4 levels for your favourite PFS character but you don't have to commit him to actual play, I suspect its going to take 10-15 sessions to fully complete and I will run the sessions for 2 to 3 hours every monday from 8pm BST

... It’s become clear that the Pathfinder Society is not the only ones occupying the Spire. If we’re to progress further we’ll need to contend with a group that are holed up in the Spire’s third level. We don’t know anything about them, except that if they’re hiding out here then chances are it’s because they don’t want patrols from Fort Inevitable to notice them. The letter of warrant supplied to us by Drovust gives us authority to ‘act in the interest of good order and keep the lady commander’s laws.’...

Level three of the Emerald Spire.

Hi All -

I am scheduled to play in Hall of the Flesh Eaters starting in about 15 minutes, but I've been extremely busy with CON games and just learned that the subtier has changed (it is now subtier 1-2) and I would end up playing a pregen for this game.

I'm present for the game, but could also probably use a break. So, if anyone would like my spot, I would be very happy to step aside for you. The GM is RobG and the game alias is tiny fang rich idol. If so, please hop on ts.fg-con.com. Thanks!

"The Wounded Wisp" is an evergreen, replayable scenario designed to help introduce players to the history of the Pathfinder Society and Absalom’s greatest sites.

PFS #5-08: The Confirmation - MAY 26th - 9am to 2pm Eastern Time
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for level 1-2.
