Can you include a random damage element to an Aftereffect?

For example:

Hit: The target is slowed and grants combat advantage (save ends both). Aftereffect: 3d6 + Wisdom modifier radiant damage and the target grants combat advantage until the end of your next turn.

This parsed as:

Slowed; GRANTCA; AFTER: endnext; GRANTCA

There is not an effect that causes a damage roll to occur.

Thanks very much for the information. I'll create a workaround by just having a second attack line where the power is defined on the player's character sheet.

I'm under the impression that random damage like this in the D&D 4e system is uncommon - they tend to use the ongoing 5/10 damage or a flat amount equal to a stat.
