Hello. I am new in fg2 so i found those rules for RM Classic. Can anyone tell me are there original MERP rules inside and other stuff from MERP books? And is anyone playing right now MERP over fg2? Since i am very interested to play.

Cheers.

Not MERP, but I'm currently running a game with the latest Middle Earth RPG ~ The One Ring from Cubicle 7 / Sophisticated Games

If I remember correctly, I think Valarian developed the ruleset himself and he can't release it because of copyright issue.

However he is running a couple game for FG Con 2012 that you might want to look into.

The first is an introduction to FG: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=822

The second is a game using The One Ring ruleset he developed: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=817

_FGCon_2012 Saturday 8pm UK BST (UTC+1) - Lost in the Marshes

This looks interesting, can i play it with demo version of FG2?

You can't with the demo version. Valarian has an Ultimate license so you can connect for free using the unregistered version. Just download the installer from the downloads page right above where the Demo version is located. When you install it just indicate that it is an unregistered version. As long as the GM (host) has an Ultimate license you will be able to play with them. If you want to play with a GM with a Full license then you will need a Lite license. Please let me know if you have any questions.

No, the ruleset will be handled by Valarian. You just need to go to the calendar link and click the Apply as Player link in the lower right hand corner. Once you are accepted you should be able to see more information for the game.

Dakadin has given all the information needed :)

You don't need to buy a license, the unregistered version will suffice for joining the games that I host. The FGCon sessions will be a good introduction to FG2 and The One Ring.

I've added a couple of links in the calendar entry for the Lost in the Marshes game which give a little more info on the game system.
