I was thinking it would be good to have the schedule of events on a spreadsheet/grid due to the global time zones.

You can find this handy grid here:

Correct they aren't being sorted in chronological order. We had hoped to get a website up and running with this type of functionality for the dates of this con that would do that, but we ran out of time. I'm not sure how we'd be able to do that, short of developing something completely bespoke (probably on a separate site) - with less than 3 weeks to go.

I'm open to suggestions though?? :)

P.S. If the GM puts the game time in the "scheduled play times" section of the entry, this will update based on the timezone - not ideal as you have to open the entry to see this.

P.P.S. One solution would be to change all of the Gamecalendar entries to be in GMT (UTC) in the title - so this would sort them?

Google Calendar with a sticky link from the forum?

The entries in the Game Calendar seem to be sorted alphanumerically based on the description. The simplest way to order the list would be to ask each GM to switch their description to using GMT, for example:

_FGCon_2012 Friday 5pm MDT -> _FGCon_2012 Saturday 00:00 GMT

I'll see if I can do a google docs spreadsheet with all the sessions marked out. Then we can post a link to it.

Blackfoot and I are collaborating on a Google docs spreadsheet that you can find here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuS4bmZlL0uUdEhLRnQyUFp3cGtkU3g5Ti1jWHZMO Gc#gid=0

You can click through on the hyperlinks directly to the calendar entries.

It is a work in progress, so if you see anything that isn't correct let me know.

This is great work - thanks for doing this! :-)

Are you OK updating this as games get added moving forward?

Please! :)

I am shifting my Rolemaster game "The Proof that Binds" three hours earlier to avoid competing with the other two games there and give better gaming coverage.

We have it pretty well under control.
Looks like wbc took care of most of the new stuff except for the TBA stuff.
We do seem to have some time open from GMT 22:00 Saturday through GMT 17:00 Sunday when there are very few things scheduled (note: some of the TBA stuff may fall in there) if anyone is looking for a slot to run a game.

Spreadsheet modified. ( currently EDT is GMT-4 due to DST not GMT-5 as in your game listing)

Popped a Savage Game in to fill up a gap (although at the expense of all US people being asleep during it !)

Hopefully I can grab some UK / AUS Savages (or wannabe Savages) to get numbers up !

That's great, now you just need to get some SW players to sign up. Added to spreadsheet.

I updated the post Doswelk made here:
