can you change the background image?

I'm really not sure what its called so im having a hard time searching for it. The wood background or tabletop. can this image be changed? I have seen different modules change this but im unsure where to begin on how to make it something i would prefer.

If you're using the 3.5e or 4e rulesets, the first thing is to unpack the .pak file. Copy the .pak file from your FG2 installation directory (the one in program files), and copy to the application folder (the one in the start menu). Change the extension to .zip and unzipped the contents to a folder under the rulesets folder (eg. rulesets/my_4e). look for the desktop.png image in frames - that's the one to change. Create a campaign using your version of the ruleset.
