I came across these maps while foraging through RPGMapshare.

Since I'm running the Jade Regent adventure path, these maps were a magnificent discovery. Kudos to the creator for making them available to the public, Jazlizard (RPGMapshare uploader). I'm posting them here for everyone so no one misses out. :D

Some of them are a bit large, so I'll just link the URL for them.

This is the Licktoad Village for the Brinewall Legacy adventure module.

And this is Old Megus's Shack for the Brinwall Legacy adventure module. I couldn't find the shipwrecks, the cave, Walthus's house, or Brinewall Village, but these are more than enough to add great quality to the adventure.

....The file is only 2 MB and yet I cannot upload it. So, here's the link.

Should I post this in the 3.5/Pathfinder section? Since, afterall, it is a Pathfinder adventure....?

Well, I should have checked these images out earlier. The three images of Brinewall Castle, the larger ones, are all of some kind of file type that FG will not recognize. I couldn't even open them with Paint. The smaller images are normal .jpg, but when you zoom in on them, detail gets all crapped out.

Too bad, since those images are nicely detailed. The Licktoad Village and Megus's Shack are normal files, as well, and load into FG without any issues.

I'll be more thorough next time I post something.

The Brinewall Castle images worked for me. I downloaded the larger sized photos and they came down as jpgs. Large jpgs, mind you, 7-8 megs each. The uncompressed size of these maps are huge, the largest close to 400 megs.

It took FG several seconds to open each image on my 64 bit machine. The maps look like they were done in Dundjinni or Photoshop with Dundjinni objects so the scale is huge and made for printing and the colors are print quality as well. If I was going to use them in FG I would rescale the image to something reasonable and take the 32 bit color down to 8 bits.

Very pretty maps, thanks for linking.

I had intended to do that by opening the image in Paint, but they aren't recognized by the program and I don't know another way to manipulate them with the stone age tools at my disposal.

Hmm. That is kinda strange. Paint supposedly saves jpgs so you would think it would open them but it doesn't work on my version of paint either. For just re-sizing, changing the number of colors, and cropping of pics without transparency I usually use IrfanView which is a free image utility. Its easy to use but it is only an image manipulator. If you need to create something it won't work. You can get it here: https://www.irfanview.com/ I like the software enough I set it up as my default image viewer.

If you do need to manipulate an image with transparency, need layers, or when you need to create art I use Paint.NET which is Paint on steroids. Its also free and has a relatively simple interface. I considerate it a "Middle weight" art program. It can't do everything Photoshop, Correl Draw or The GIMP can but unless you are an artist you probably won't care and it much easier to use. You can get it here: https://www.getpaint.net/
