I'm itching to run a one shot for you fine folks next weekend. My schedule is somewhat flexible that weekend. It could be Saturday evening, Sunday morning or early afternoon or even evening. I'm in EST (GMT -5) so that should accomodate both north americans and europeans.
I will be using the Savage Worlds ruleset for a Beasts and Barbarians game called Thieves in the Night
A Sword and Sorcery Savage Worlds one sheet by Umberto Pignatelli of GRAmel – Beasts & Barbarians.
This is a plug and play session using skype for voice chat. I dont have an ultimate license so you will need a FG2 lite license and the skype program. Other than that you log in, pick a pre-generated character (https://beautifulbrains.rpgnow.com/product/93578/Beasts-%26-Barbarians-Pregenerated-Characters) and after a short intro we play. I am willing to run this for 3 or 4 hours.
You need not be familiar with Savage Worlds. The rules are easy enough to pick up as you go and I will be there to help you. You need not be familiar with FG2 or RPG's. We all had to start somewhere, sometime. If you want to have a good time you are invited and welcome.
Let me know what time slot works best for you and I will make a decision based on the demand by Thursday evening.
Here's a short introduction:
The heroes arrive at the small city of Gi-laska, in Kyros. Despite being midday, the streets are empty, and the blinds of the houses shut. While walking in the main street, they hear a chorus of sobs, and then a magnificent funeral procession appears. Eight gorgeous girls, weeping and dancing at the same time, come before a palanquin supported by four burly slaves, on which a very old man lies, richly dressed and covered by jewels. He is clearly dead. Apart from the slaves and the girls, only a stern looking man on a gray horse escorts the dead one in his last travel.
“Young Senakai finally buries Old Senakai,” contemptuously says a voice nearby. You suddenly turn and see, under the shadow of a porch, another spectator, a legless beggar, watching the scene with a mix of satisfaction and hate.
“Young Senakai had to wait twenty years for his father’s demise, but finally he managed to get lordship. Puah, my curses upon both of them! Watch the old rotten vulture, covered in jewels even in death, yet he gave me not a Moon, nor did his son when I begged for a scrap of land. Me, who lost both my legs working in their damned tomb! Ah… if the gods would give me a strong pair of legs, only for tonight, tomorrow morning I would be the richest beggar of Kyros!”
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. The log in information will be sent to you the day of the scheduled game.
