HI folks

Yep I am new here so here comes a newbie question :)

The main site indicates there are rulesets available for Star Wars, try as I might I am struggling to find them, can anyone please point me in their direction.

Also does anyone have a ruleset for Pendragon?

Cheers

Blaen

Try the FGIWiki (https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/index.php/Category:Rulesets), they have a number of 3rd party/community supported rulesets. I believe you can find a Star Wars SAGA Edition ruleset there.

DM-Crazy also compiled a Star Wars SAGA Edition ruleset here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12391&highlight=star+wars).

You can also try and get a Star Wars D6 ruleset here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15147&highlight=star+wars).

Not sure about Pendragon.

Thanks Zeuss,

DM-Crazy's link is now dead

Grabbed the one from the wiki, so thanks for that.

And, D6 ahh the memories......:)

Thanks DrZ and Damned

Both Tubel and I are impressed with the community thus far and are both keen to get into FG in a big'ish way.

Heck I am even starting to learn code

Star Wars Ruleset on the Wiki appears to be corrupted?

I get the following error message when trying to run it in FGII, or see the Capture.

Script Error: [string "modifierstack"]:1: attempt to call field 'registerControl' (a nil value)

Is it the SWSE R ruleset downloaded from here: https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/index.php/Star_Wars_saga_edition ??

If so, when do you see the error? I've loaded this into V2.8.1 of Fantasy Grounds, created a new campaign and loaded it up and I don't see any errors.

Yep that's the one Trenloe. Just to be sure I downloaded it again and did and update on FGII as well.

I get the error message when in Create a New Campaign, I type in the necessary details (Camapaign name etc), when I press Start, the FG2 loading screen appears then straight away the error message pops up.

Unfortunately, this works fine for me.

Do you have any extensions loaded?
Might be worth completely deleting the ruleset directory (SWSE_R) and re-unzipping the ruleset.
What app are you using the "unzip" the swse_r.rar file?
Do you get a similar error creating a 4E ruleset campaign (it uses similar code in the area where the error might be occurring).

The fifth time around, I decided to hum Adavace Australia Fair while biting my tongue on the left side of my mouth this time.

And guess what? It worked. :o :o :o :D

To be honest I have no idea what I did different this time around.

Thanks for your help Trenloe, you have just been grated the title Mentor

Wierd! Glad you got it working: 1-in-5 isn't bad! ;-)

If you're runinng Vista or Windows 7 you might want to make sure that FG runs as Administrator each time, just in case it is having issues writing files to certain locations...
