Hi,

It looks like it's been a while since you guys at FG posted any update about the possibility of a native Apple version, so I thought I would check in, especially now that Lone Wolf's Hero Lab--one of my other favorite tools--is in beta on OS X.

I realize there are options with CrossOver, Parallels, and VMWare but it would be great to have something for the Apple ecosystem. Once you'd tested the waters with iOS or OS X support then adapting the native version in either direction would be a smaller effort if it fit your business model.

Thanks,

Rick

For the foreseeable future, we plan to operate on Mac and Linux under Wine variants. We think that maintaining for multiple codesets would degrade the offerings for users for all operating systems compared to supporting one really well. That said, it runs great on Mac with one of the Wine variants. I use WineBottler personally since it is free and easy to use once you get through the somewhat hairy setup.
