I've seen this issue reported in the forums, but what worked for others does not work for me. I just updated to FG v2.8.1; what I've done in the past is launch FG as host, then launch another instance and connect as a client via localhost. Used to always work with no problem, but now I get numerous console errors of "Runtime Error: D3DXCreateTexture failed - D3DPOOL_MANAGED", followed by FG crashing.
Interestingly, this does not happen with the Call of Cthulhu or Savage Worlds rulesets; only with the 3.5E and 4E rulesets.
I tried deleting the cache - nothing. I also read that this used to happen when FG was minimized, but the latest update no longer allows FG to be minimized.
Any help would be appreciated!
