I've played around with fantasy grounds and even bought a full license, but haven't really played a real game with it.

I would really like to get into a game. I am available on Sundays and maybe Friday nights.

I'm an older player (40's) and have been gaming for 25 years off and on.

Looking to play any of the following games:

Pathfinder
Star Wars Saga
D&D 4e
D&D 3.5e
AD&D (1st)
DC Adventures (or M&M 3rd)

Not real familiar with Pathfinder or DC Adventures, but have the rulebooks.

Anyone running any games that would be willing to include a newbie like myself?

Hey there and welcome to Fantasy Grounds 2! I'm gathering a group of players new to FG2 to teach the software and run a small introductory adventure using 4E rules. Check out my post (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15508) about it and sign up if you're interested.

rbeard101,

Also check out Castles & Crusades. I'm right in your age bracket, and I think you'll find it very familiar and easy to use... kind-of a good mix between AD&D and 3.X D&D. The Fantasy Grounds ruleset for it is well implemented, too. If you're curious, the quick start rules are free on teh web at: https://www.trolllord.com/downloads/pdfs/tlg2010quickstartpdf.pdf

we have a game with an opening on Friday nights (and we are your age group) We play voice over skype. The Ruleset is Iron Heroes (D&D3.5 modified) Low Magic (more like Conan)
Gametime is 6pm(PST)/ 9PM(EST) and we play for a 2 hour session.
Noobs welcome... message me if you are interested.

The Campaign has been running for 6 months now and the players are solid and tardy.
Easy to either let you take on an existing NPC or make up a 3rd level character.
The campaign should be a very long one.
