View Full Version : How do you draw the white distance line that DM needs to approve before moving?

In the training videos, specifically in the 4E Example of Play video, when it's a characters turn and he is about to move, the player seems to draw a white line (that shows distance) indicating his requested move. The DM then needs to approve the move somehow.

How do you get the white distance line to show your move and how does the DM approve the move before it happens? I tried drawing a pointer but that's red and does not show distance.

Apply a grid and right click a token and select lock tokens.

Also if you players want to make "way points" like when moving around a corner they can press space when they change directions.
