Hey all,

I've been looking into merging some .mod files into the base 3.5E ruleset and have no clue how to do it. Anyone care to help?

We're using the 3.5E rules but I also purchased the Arcana Evolved ruleset. As the ruleset doesn't use the latest version of Fantasy Grounds I'd like to simply import the modules (AE rules, spells, and spell treasury) into the basic 3.5 ruleset but can't figure out how to do this. Do you know how?

Also, I wanted to make a small tweak to the character sheet (merge Hide and Move Silently into Sneak, a pet peeve of mine really) but I can't figure out how to access the character sheet from the 3.5E ruleset. Again, any takers on how to help me do this?

Much appreciated!

I'm not familiar with the AE modules, but you could give it a try.

For each module,
* Make a backup copy of the module
* Rename the module file to .ZIP
* Open the ZIP file
* Extract definition.xml
* Change the value of the ruleset tag to 3.5E
* Copy the modified definition file back into the ZIP file
* Rename the module file back to its original name

This will allow the modules to be seen within the activation window within the 3.5E ruleset. The only question is whether the AE ruleset used custom reference window classes to display data, or it used the same reference window classes as 3.5E. My guess is that they are probably the same, or mostly the same.

Let me know what you find, and I can help make further suggestions.
