Just got hold of Cosmic Patrol and it looks quite good, not that keen on the setting as written ( would still play it) maybe 30s pulp / Conan?

It's minimal prep and GMless so good for a one shot...?

Not sure yet, probably just use the base ruleset.

Thinking about it, it might be a good one to try play by forum (Epic Words has a built in dice roller)?

I happened across this thread when looking for more info and others interested in Cosmic Patrol. I picked up the pdf and liked it enough to grab a copy when I found the GenCon Special Edition on eBay. It looks like a blast to play.

If you are looking for another player, I'd like to try it out. I found the game thread over on Epic Words and it looks like an engineer or robot (maybe a engineer-robot) would fit in pretty well. Let me know.

How did that go?
I was thinking of doing this on Google Plus.
I ran a Savage Worlds Slipstream game a couple of years ago and one of our group ran a Pulp SF Fate game.
My first ever FG2 game was a Gurps :Tales of the Solar Patrol one-off.
I enjoy these settings.

Wow, it was a while ago...

I think it petered out, we got a few rounds in and seemed to be Ok from what I can remember.
