I have multiple network cards on my laptop and I have virtual network cards because I use VMware Workstation. FGII is picking one of the virtual nics as the internal network card. This doesn't work. I need it to use my wireless card. Is there a way to force FGII to use a specific card?

Windows 7
FGII 2.8 all updates

Thanks

Hi,

well that is a bit complex, but i try to explain.

Goto your Networkcenter. on the right side you should see a menue, on of them is named something like change adapterconfiguration (sorry german Version may also be named manage network connections).
There should be a menue Bar with "advanced" on it (last entry in front of the "?". If it is not there, you need to activate it. (Alt Button should do)

In this submenue you find "Advanced Settings". Open the settings.

There are 2 windows. on the top Window you can change the order by selecting the network and then the up or down arrows on the right side of it.

That should solve your problem i think.

Unfortunately no, but thank you for the assisting. I did get it to work by disabling the two offending VMware NICs while I started FGII. Not perfect, but it'll work.
