Using the 3.5E ruleset, a character has a staff that is enchanted with frost so that it deals an additional 1d6 cold damage.
Since the staff normally deals 1d4, the damage die on the character sheet now is a 1d4 and a 1d6. Damage type is listed as: magic, cold

The problem comes when they are attacking a creature immune to cold damage, since the 1d4 should still go though.

Is there a way to distinquish between the two types of damage so that FG figures it out, or does the character have to have seperate weapon slots for the staff, one for each type of damage?

You will need two weapon entries, or add the regular damage manually in those cases.

It's on my list for future 3.5 updates, but I need to redesign the weapon interface to make it work so it was delayed.

could you list the 1d4 only damage as ranged damage - just an option?

Moon I noticed when you take a weapon from the library and place it in the action area it fills almost everything out perfectly except the damage type? Can this be added?

This should be working with the exception of weapons with "or" damage types. I wasn't sure what to do with "or" damage types, but maybe I'll just make it both, instead of none.

Thanks,

Ok that would make sense (I was a player in this last session, my son is the DM, and my character only uses Daggers)

We set them up as Piercing, slashing and yes no space, seems when you put a space in the program calls it untyped.
