View Full Version : 4E Heavy Thrown weapon troubles

Hi folks,

I'm not exactly new to D&D 4E, but I am brand new to FG2's 4E tools. Specifically, I'm having trouble creating an item that appears as ranged, or as both melee and ranged, in the combat window. I know that I can create a custom, specific weapon/implement using the radial menu, but I like having the weaponry tied to inventory items.

The FG2 library states the following, which leads me to believe I'm doing something wrong: "If you drop a weapon/implement from a module (or GM drops from campaign items) and the weapon can be used for either melee or ranged attacks, then 2 weapon entries will be created (one for melee, one for ranged)."

And here's what I've filled in on my "Heavy Thrown" Handaxe:

Yet in the combat window I only see a melee, range 0 combat option. Any help would be appreciated!

You're doing everything right. It's a bug in the code for processing weapons.

I've scheduled a patch for this issue in the next update.

Well that's a bit of relief on my end. Thanks very much for the response and your work, moon_wizard.
