We get a lot of questions about whether or not we've talked with various publishers and game companies about carrying their product for Fantasy Grounds. The short answer is usually that we have and that there wasn't enough interest from the publisher or there were licensing issues that might make it difficult to do. This is where we can use your help if you plan to attend Gen Con next month.

I generally believe that if enough interest is expressed by fans, then gaming companies will see the potential market and remove any roadblocks to licensing products for Fantasy Grounds. When you see them at the show, be sure to mention your interest in seeing their products converted for use with Fantasy Grounds products. Let them know about older products you'd even want to purchase. It is my belief that there are a lot of gamers out there who would love to see their favorite system and content from days gone by converted and playable online. New stuff is always good, but the older material is almost as viable.

The sales pitch:
It doesn't cost them *anything* other than the time to sign the contract and send us copies of the raw documents or PDFs. We locate the developers or develop it in-house, build the modules, QC the modules, handle the sales and then give them quarterly reports and royalties. In fact, the royalties are probably higher than selling print copies and only slightly less than selling them through PDF shops. No printing fees, shipping fees or warehousing required.

Finally, ask them to stop by our booth at Gen Con and ask for John Gregory or Doug Davison. We'd be happy to talk with them for more details.
