Thinking about buying FGII 1 full 5 lite and a few rulesets. Just want to check that if I buy them all I just need to give the people in the group the licences and the gm the ruleset files or have I made a mistake?

That is correct. After you buy the bundle you can just give the appropriate people the links to FG lite, FG full or rulesets and send them their license key.
