How do I get started?
I've watched the player tutorial, but can't find character sheets, etc.

To make sure things are clear. FG is just something that allows you to play role playing games over the Internet - its not a game itself.

To actually play with someone you need to go to the Guild House board, the Specific Game board, or the Game Calendar to look for a game of the type you would like to play. Next you would post on the board to let the person advertising you are interested.

Most games have the same group of players session after session with occasional turn over. When a group needs another player they will typically post up information about what time zone they are in and the hours of the game and any other information to attract the type of player(s) they are looking for that can play on the date and time when the game is held. People around the world use FG so what days and times you can play are important, since your evening can be someone else's morning.

There may also be some one shot or open table games that run just one session or adventure.
