View Full Version : Stat Bonus with 'hits' and 'manual'

I could be missing a rule or something, if so I apologize. I've read all my old books.

When a skill is set to "hits" or "manual" rather than "standard" the math gets a little off.

For example:
Set to manual the stat bonus never seems to get added in.
Rank: +10, Stat: +1, Total: 10.

Set to hits, it gets weird
Rank: +10, Stat: +1, Total: 10.
-If I change the stats to 100 to give a +25 bonus this happens
Rank: +10, Stat: +25, Total 12.

What am I missing?

"Manual" does what it says on the tin: you have to type everything in manually. It is used for those things that have really odd rules.

"Hits" means that it uses the RMC standard rules for working out Hits (or hit points), where the stat bonus acts as a true percentage, rounded down, so a base figure of 10 and a stat bonus of +25% is 10 X 125% = 12.5 = 12.

Hope that helps!

Stuart
