Hey there. So I've been pretty fortunate so far with getting my hands on mods and things. Been doing some character creation for a campaign of mine coming up and a person has made a character using some of the extras found in this dragon mag. Well, I thought I'd be proactive and just begin building mods with all these supplements. I've followed the directions from the tutorial. I'm knew to this and I know there are issues. First, I am running Parser 4.0.118.0 I assume that is the latest build.

Anyway after scraping the mag... I went on to the parse step and didn't seem to get too far... this is my error message...

3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : ERROR: line: Dynamic;Aftereffect
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Start Power Parse
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Reference parameters set
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : NPCs parameters set
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Items parameters set
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Adventure parameters set
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Root parameters set
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Subtree Verified
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Top level verified
3/25/2011 8:35:00 PM : Starting parse

(in the top line there is no space after the colon and the D in Dynamic.. just this forum puts a smiley face there)

So have I done something stupid on my end? Any help diagnosing what I'm doing wrong in set up would be great.

The Parser is setup to handle all the dynamic tags defined in the PHB without you having to add them to the class.txt file manually.

The tag Aftereffect is one of these pre-defined tags. Try opening the class.txt file and removing the Dynamic;Aftereffect line and re-parse. See if that does the trick.
