Backspace problem

is there any progress on this backspace problem. I am getting to a point i don't want to prep my games. All i am doing is removing a blank line and FG2 crashes.

Again and again.

The fix was queued up for v2.8. Since it's taking longer than expected, I plan to back-port that fix into the v2.7.5 test version later today.
