I am trying to create a ruleset for me and my friends in FG1, with a custom appearance and all. Although, I have come across something that concerns me, the character sheet text is white and I know how to change it back to black but it interferes with the darker parts of the ruleset that white text goes well on, and I am just wondering if there is a way to make the character sheet use a different font (effectively making it black again), because I can't find any code to do so. I just need to know where to change it really though. Thanks in advance!:bandit:

I'm not sure about FG1, since that is before my time.
In FG2, you can locate the "font" tags and change the RGB values in the "color" subtag.

That doesn't help me unfortunately, but thanks anyways!

Why are you still using FG1? The license is the same as for FG2 (there wasn't an upgrade cost involved) and the community support available in the newer version is far better.

I use FG1 still because I have a ton of stuff already done. But that doesn't change the fact I still need help for it, so again thanks for any information that comes along.

If I don't missremember... there is a fgfonts.xml
that contains definition of all the fonts.
Copy the one used to a second place and define it black. Then use a <font="name here" /> tag in the controls needing to be black.

Bmpfonts.xml, I do believe is what you're talking about, if I am correct I have already looked into that - but I don't think it helps me with my issue. The issue being, I don't know how to change the character sheet's use of fonts, such as let's say 90% of the character sheet for typed information uses the generic.fgf file, or whatever it may be. And generic.fgf is also used for many other things, but the thing is I want to change only the character sheet's text, such as make a generic2.fgf which is plenty easy, color it black, and make the character sheet use generic2.fgf instead of generic.fgf, while the rest of the ruleset still uses generic.fgf in the correct places.
If this can be accomplished, great! And if you can tell me how to maybe accomplish this, I'd be forever in your debt. :)

Not sure if this helps, but it's worth a try. The first is my search request, you'll want to go to the older entries. The second may be more helpful.
