I am a little confused on scraping data from ddi and parsing it into fg.

What i have done so far is attempt to add powers in from phb1 to create my char. I have done the scrape and parse and have activated the library in fg The powers actually shows up in my lib list, but that is all i can get it to do so far.

I feel that i am not grasping the full idea of what is needed to be done to simply add items and powers from ddi.

im really tired so i hope this makes since.

Thanks

If you have scraped, parsed and activated the module successfully, your 99% there. As you can see the module in the Library, browse through the list of Powers for your PC's class. e.g. Fighter Exploits.

Next choose the powers you want your Fighter to have and open them by clicking on their respective names or Red icon link (top left), then open the character sheet for the PC (by clicking on the players Portrait, top left of desktop or through the Player Selection/Activation window) and select the Powers tab.

Now simply drag the red icon link from each power onto the main window of the Powers tab. As you drop each link it will auto-create and populate an entry ready for you to use.

coreyk67 - Glad you found the guide useful. It used to be posted up on the Wiki but for some reason has dissapeared. I'll drop a note to Oberoten.

As for items and equipment, I answered the question in your other post (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?p=102940#post102940) in the 4E forum.
