Forum list function

Is it me or does this appear to be broken? On other forums if i highlight an area of text and hit the list button, all newline text is indented and given a bullet. Not sure what's required on this forum :confused:

I've always entered the bullets manually, or using patterns in a separate editor. The current list functionality of these forums is not friendly for mass manipulation.
