When updating the latest patch for nWoD, (the 0.24 patch intended for 2.7.2 FG) do you need to uninstall the old WoD first or patch over it? And more importantly, will my campaign data transfer over after being patched without any issues?
One of my players is having an issue choosing his character now with the old campaign data, the mouse cursor won't move from the menu after logging in and before choosing his character.
When I change the campaign name (create a new campaign) everything works fine. I have come to expect FG to be little more than a glorified dice roller and thats fine, its just a shame that it cannot be relied upon for saving anything of worth in the actual campaign itself out of the fear that it will be corrupted every time someone patches.
Is this a common fear that other people share?
