I'm looking to run a demo / one-shot scenario for FGII. The game will be Corporation, which is a really easy rule system to play. The basic rule mechanic is attribute + skill = target number. Roll under the target number on 2d10 to succeed. I have an Ultimate license, so people considering FGII are welcome to join in. You'll need to download the FGII installer and select the unlicensed option during the installation. Don't download the demo version, this is a separate version and not compatible.

There are six slots available for the game
1. Filled
2. Available
3. Available

CORPORATION (www.corpgame.com)

There will come a time when the nations of the world will cease to exist. When the anachronisms of state and country are finally crushed by the inexorable juggernaut of total corporate domination. When five monolithic Corporations are the new world powers. When the lives of billions are the sole property of the companies that employ them.

There will come a time when the tools of war and politics alike are not armies or diplomats but Agents: the eyes, the hands, and sometimes the knives of the Corporations, individuals elevated to new peaks of physical and mental potential by unthinkable training and unimaginable technologies.

There will come a time when you will be recruited as an Agent, ordered to operate outside any remaining semblance of law and augmented beyond what you once considered human. When you will negotiate, bargain, spy, sabotage, kill and perhaps die in the service of your Corporation - and when you will be well rewarded, as long as you survive.

The time is 2500 AD, and it is now.

----------------------------
MISSION BRIEF - OPERATION
Parameters
Agent Kendricks has been captured by a Georgian Organistziya cell that Intelligence believes has ties to the Ai-Jinn Corporation. We've located where Kendricks is being held and you have been selected as the extraction team.

Your mission is to retrieve the Agent and return him to Eden Spire for debriefing and medical treatment. Kendricks may have been interrogated. In the event of an interrogation having taken place, you are instructed to ensure that the data and thos performing the interrogation are both eliminated. We also believe that Ai-Jinn is planning to send Agents to retrieve Kendricks and remove him to Ai-Jinn controlled territory. You have to get to Kendricks before this happens.

You have transport standing by. A VTOL will take you to within strike range of the target. You can call in the VTOL for extraction once any resistance has been eliminated. The VTOL is not equipped for a combat extraction.

Primary Objective
- Retrieve Agent Kendricks and return him to Eden Spire for debriefing

Secondary Objectives
- Destroy all data extracted from Agent Kendricks and those present at his interrogation
- Destroy Organisatziya cell

I'll play. sounds interesting. Although, after looking at the rules, kinda, the Ai-jinns sound like they would be the coolest to play.

The scenario has pre-generated characters - which are Eurasian Incorporated.

There's a quick start booklet available on the Corporation Website, if anyone wants to have a look at the rules before signing up.

What are the basic pre-gen character archtypes that are left? (Hacker, Big Gun guy, etc...)

There is a techie (hacker), and a big gun (nuke) type. There's a telepath (not actually telepathic, but psionically gifted), a sniper, a fixer and I can't currently remember the remaining one.

I'd intended for characters to be on a "first come, first served basis", but I can post up the character archetypes and names later. Just so you know who you're aiming for if you've got a character in mind. Due to the limited nature of the scenario, not all characters will necessarily shine (i.e. the fixer doesn't have much to do except perhaps try to con their way in).

Available characters are as follows:
- Jackson Grant (Tactical Weapons; Sniper)
- Yuri Orlov (Close Combat Specialist)
- Vladimir Kirov (Crime; Fixer)
- Dieter Andersonn (Heavy Weapons; EI Nuke)
- Olaf Jurgen (Assault Telepath; uses dual pistols)
- Andrei Nurayev (Computers & AI; Techie)

I've been stuck at work, so I may be a little late (no more than 15 mins). I'd hope the server will be running from 20:00 to 20:15 for people to connect. The alias for tonight will be : good luck just luck

The server is now running. For anyone new to FGII, in order to use the alias, select Join a Game and enter a name / handle for yourself and the alias : good luck just luck.

Not sure how much success you had with this, but 2 days notice is a bit short, no?

I think that was just an introductory session, not the main game.

I would like to join your game Valarian depending on time held. :)

Really? The title would imply a one shot session on 12th

You are right. I did not notice the title on my small notebook screen. Two days notice is too short. In the short time between when I signed up for this and you notified me of this unfortunate fact, I was really looking forward to this game. I love the Corporation World.

Maybe Valarian could toss on one more One Shot Demo? :)

It was a fill-in game as the normal Friday night GM was doing something else. I might have to see if I can run a session on a Saturday. I'll give some more notice for this, but fill in games will always be short notice.
