Need Some Help!

Hey everyone!

I just bought the ultimate license for FG2 and I'm really looking forward to incorporating it in my games with friends of mine across the world. That said, I'm a total n00b, and I could use some help getting it up and running.

The issue is my group plays Pathfinder; I know there's no official support for Pathfinder because of Paizo holding out on the license, but I've heard there are custom rulesets out there.

I have NO idea where to find the Pathfinder ruleset and less of an idea on how to "install" it or get it up and running. I've looked through the manual but still can't figure out how to make ruleset changes.

Can someone help me?

I don't think it is ready for use yet, but I have never played Pathfinder so what do I know.

I don't think there is a Pathfinder ruleset available, but there was a Pathfinder extension which modifies the d20 3.5e ruleset.

It was on the FG Wiki (https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/index.php/Pathfinder) but the file link is dead. Maybe Obe has a backup copy?

There's an extension in the Pathfinder thread mainly created by Madman, with some great help from JPG and a little bit from myself, though I'm not sure if that's the same as the one linked to above. edit: ah, yeah it's the same. I don't think Bronsonortiz touched that extension (and put it back up) although I've seen his PF dungeon theme.

It should work fine, but I've encountered some errors if players also have a copy of the ruleset installed. If that's the case then they might want to rename or move the ruleset elsewhere while connected to their GM.
