I just purchased FG2 Full license and am confused:
- the version of my installed program is 2.6.3, which seems older from the one shown in the tutorial 2.7.0.
- how do i get to run a game with the d4e ruleset? currently, i only see the 3.5 ruleset and demo!? no modules as successfully parsed with 4EParser are shown.

Start FG2 and click on check for updates, this should update you to the latest release version and download the 4E ruleset.

The latest release version is actually 2.6.5.

2.7 had a few bugs so the release version was rolled back to 2.6.5

if you want to try the 2.7 beta you need to download the test mode manager from the downloads page of the website.
running test mode manager before before clicking update will give you the option of which update to download release (2.6.5) Test (2.7.1) or developer (2.7.2)

4E modules will not show up until you have the 4E ruleset installed and create a 4E campaign

Thx for the quick reply! I already updated, but the updater ends with:
<Error processing package manifest>

Do you have any clue? I am running on Windows 7. Maybe collision with a previously installed Demo-Version?

Do complete clean uninstall of everything. Flush out your Registry (use something like CCleaner).

Reboot and clean install the Full Version.
Download from FG2 site, the Test Load Manager
(https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/TestModeManager.exe)
Run the Test Manager and set it to "Developer"
Run FG2 and, hopefully, the "Check for Updates" button should be flashing red.
Click "Check for Updates" and have it do it's thing.

Hopefully that should bring you to version 2.7.2 with the 3.5 and 4E ruleset installed.
