One - what does the <shortcuts> tag do in image entries in library xmls?
Two - what does the static="true" attribute do in library tags?

The shortcuts tag tracks shortcut pins on images. It supports the subtags of class, recordname, x and y.

The static attribute means that the database node is read-only. This is only relevant for host module data, since client and common module data is always read-only.
