Hi,

sorry if this is answered anywhere else. Is there a way to save the dice colour in FG2 so that you always get the same colour when you log in?

thanks

I'm not sure if its a ruleset or core FGII feature but with the 4E ruleset die colour is associated with Character Identities and not connected Players. This way a player managing multiple PCs can associate different colour die for each PC or Identity. The colour states are saved between sessions so logging back in a selecting PCs will restore the respective die colour when that PC (or Character Identity) is made Active.

So in short yes, just save the campaign as per normal.

On a related note, how about the GM color?

If I open a campaign as a GM (white dice) and go into another campaign and then change the color (red dice), the GM dice follow back to the previous campaign (red dice).

Any thoughts?

Actually, the dice color is linked to your machine, not to your campaign or dataset.

FG2 doesn't use XML to save dice colors, but uses the Windows registry, namely:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Fantasy Grounds\2.0\DiceColor
