Seeking players for a Classic D&D campaign using FG 2.

We will be using the red Basic D&D game rules by TSR from `83, also compiled in the D&D Rules Cyclopedia; this system of game rules came before 3rd. ed. and 2nd ed. AD&D, and they have a style and feel most similar to AD&D 1st ed., but are easier to learn and faster to player as the rules are quite simple.

You do not have to own the Basic rules to play, but you must have experience playing D&D and be available once per week on a weekday at 8:00PM (GMT +10).

If you are interested, please send me a private message outlining your timezone, preferred weekday of play and the edition(s) of D&D that you have experience playing.

Thanks,
-bobthebuilder.

Saturday Oct. 23rd:
The party set forth to seek the raiders base and found a cave in the mountains. The party encountered what appeared to be a dragon at the entrance. They discovered it was a ruse by a group of fighters and a mage. After a staged diversion, they party was able to take them by surprise and, with a little luck, were able to capture the entire group alive.

Not a bad first game, considering I didn't have a character ready, and originally was just going to observe.

Oct 30th,
The party attempted to question the group but none of them were willing to provide any information even after "persuasion" was applied to a slowly decreasing group. The party proceeded into the caverns and wandered for miles, eventually finding a village of gnomes fleeing a "kingdom" of death, and a group of zombies guarding a fungus grotto. Eventually the party emerged into a valley where centaurs warned of an evil temple of monks and a nearby witch. The party set off in search of the witch....

the game started a little slow, more roleplaying than expected but picked up speed as the party search the caves and caverns. Tonight introduced silvergold as the thief.
