New to 4E, Not to D&D

Greetings, all.

I am new to 4th Edition D&D and to Fantasy Grounds and am very interested in getting involved with a campaign, preferrably one that is just starting. I've been role playing for about 30 years and have a background in IT (computers) so I would not have that big of a learning curve.

I am in Eastern Standard Time Zone (GMT-5) and am available any night of the week. I do have a headset, so VOIP is a go.

I've been looking for a group for a few weeks now and its been a bear tbh. What would you say if someone asked whether u'd like to dm or not?

I would love to DM. I DM PnP. However, I am not familiar with Fantasy Grounds at all at this point in time, and I don't have any material prepared for the format. You're talking about a month or two (at least) before I would be up to speed and ready.

I am not saying that I won't be doing that any way, but in the meantime, I am looking to play.
